Have you ever wanted to visit the places in the books you read? I know I have. I think it’s a common fantasy, one that the Harry Potter amusement park is taking full advantage of and making a lot of money doing it. I’ll admit I enjoyed the books and I think it would be a fun world to visit. I haven’t been to the theme park yet, but I’d like to get there someday.
I think one of the places from a book I personally would most like to visit is the Falls Chance Ranch from a wonderful book series by Rolf and Ranger. It’s a fascinating place. For one, the area of Wyoming where it is located sounds absolutely beautiful. For another, I’m totally addicted to these books and the wonderful extended family of men who live there and run the ranch. On the surface, the ranch is a very exclusive corporate rehab program that specializes in helping burned out CEOs find a work/life balance. However, what is not so readily apparent is that the ranch is also something of a sanctuary for gay men who either live in or are searching for a DD relationship. There is an extended family connected to the ranch going back for some 50 years. Most of the men come and go although the five main characters, who are in a plural marriage with one another, are the heart and soul of the series.
These books are my ultimate comfort books. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve read and reread them now. So much so that the men in the books have come to be like friends of a sort. I love the idea of being able to go there and visit with them. If you would like to check out the books yourself, you can find them all for free at http://fallschanceranch.forumotion.co.uk/
